  1. How to Enter

    a.To be considered for the competition, you need to EITHER LIKE the competition post, COMMENT on the post using the hashtag #MotherWorks or visit the #MotherWorks Exhibition at Brixton Design Trail, between 15th - 23rd September at Pop Fields,Pope's Road (behind Pop Brixton), Brixton, SW9 8PQ.


b. The winner will be chosen completely at random, by collating the names of everyone who liked, commented or left their details with a Mothers of Invention representative at the #MotherWorks Brixton Design Trail exhibition 15th - 23rd September at Pop Fields,Pope's Road (behind Pop Brixton), Brixton, SW9 8PQ.

  1. When to Enter and Who can Enter

    1. The Competition opens on 12th September 2018 and closes on  Sunday 30th September 2018

    2. Entrants can enter at any point between these dates

    3. Entrants can only enter the Competition once (i.e. a name will only be logged as an entry once), but can like, share, comment, tweet and RT as many times as they like

    4. The Competition is ONLY OPEN TO WORKING MUM RESIDENTS IN SW LONDON, excluding employees and agents of Mothers Of Invention and anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Competition

    5. Automated or bulk entries from third parties will be disqualified

    6. We reserve the right to exclude serial competition entrants who have entered more than 4 competitions in the last months


  1. Prizes

    1. The prize for winning the competition will be ONE PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT in the style of the #MotherWorks campaign and in line with the Mothers of Invention mission to capture working mums in their work/ life/ family environment - IMAGES MUST CONTAIN THE WINNER AND THE FAMILY UNIT (in some guise or sense), to be agreed by all parties.     2. The Prize is as stated and cannot be exchanged for cash, goods or services. Unless specifically agreed in writing by Mothers of Invention

    3. The Prize is not transferable and must be taken by the winner in person


  1. Data Protection and Publicity

    1. You consent to your surname, photograph and basic information about you being disclosed on Mothers of Invention digital channels or other media if you win any Prizes under the Competition

    2. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. By entering the Competition, you agree that Mothers of Invention may contact you in relation to the Competition

    3. Competition winners will be contacted by Mothers of Invention within 7 days of the competition closing

    4. You must provide accurate contact details on notification

    5. Mothers of Invention reserve the right to use the voice, image, photograph, name and likeness of the winners for publicity and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice to the winners

    6. In entering the Competition, all participants consent to such use of their voice, image, photograph, name and likeness.


  1. Competition Rules

    1. The Competition will be run and Prizes will be awarded at the sole discretion of Mothers of Invention

    2. We reserve the right to change the Competition rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do so, we will always have the most up to date terms and conditions on The Website https://www.wearemoi.net/


  1. Liability and Indemnities

    1. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, sole discretion and its associated companies and agents and distributors exclude responsibility and all liabilities, whether direct or indirect, arising from:

    2. any postponement or cancellation of the Competition;

    3. any changes to, the supply of or use of the Prize; and

    4. any act or default of any supplier, which are beyond the reasonable control of Mothers of Invention.

    5. Mothers of Invention does not accept responsibility for any liability arising from technical incompatibility, problems relating to the internet, or technical difficulties of any kind

    6. Mothers of Invention shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goods, loss of use, loss or corruption of data or information, or any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses

    7. You agree to indemnify Mothers of Invention against all liabilities, claims and expenses that may arise from any breach of your agreement with Mothers of Invention.


  1. Jurisdiction

    1. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law. England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
